Hello.
Since the UK's local elections I've been pondering about my future of myself and others, including those of this community. With right-wing gaining traction in Europe such as Reform UK, AfD etc. we're seeing a rise in ethnonationalism and anti-Islam sentiments. Sadly, much of these sentiments are tied to ethnic sectarianism and racism lumping us with Muslims.
Conversely, the Muslim population has been growing rapidly here, there's now about 50 million Muslims and their influence are seeping right into politics. Their radicalism and pharisaical conduct just as poisonous as people back in Muslim countries.
The worst thing is that we as ex-muslims can't exactly align ourselves with any side properly, the rightists are being radicalised in hating 'ethnic Muslims', leftists try to appeal to Islamism and support them.
I genuinely don't know what to do, I've been sticking with my local Salafi community for support, but I can see the people becoming more and more radical, conversations often show fringes of extreme ideologies. I myself am of Pakistani origins and can't find myself properly getting along with the Sikh or Hindu communities respectively.
Reading articles like this https://www.militarystrategymagazine.com/article/civil-war-comes-to-the-west/ just fuels my paranoia further.
What do you guys think?

Bro, I’m Pakistani diaspora and Indians irl are nowhere near like this, I’ve noticed too that alot of this sub’s views tend to be from Indians. Can you lot stop kanging on our history and talking about us and let us be?
Sup, does anyone have any sources on the Jartikas tribes of Sagala/Bahlika?
I’m trying to learn more about their culture and way of life, as well as geographical region throughout time.
Shukkar.
20M, I’m an ‘ex-muslim’, I’m from the UK.
As per title above, I’m looking for other atheists/agnostics to be befriend.
A bit about me: I can speak English, Italian, Spanish and rudimentary Punjabi. I’m trying to pick up my French at the moment and am planning to learn German after.
As a diaspora living in a first world country, who’s never lived in Punjab or speak any Indic language, what can I do to support and help people from Punjab?
Hello, I’ve never lived in the subcontinent and I’m trying to trace my roots, my father is a Hungra (Hanjra) Jutt and my mother is Jovindah (Jawanda), my grandmothers were Cheema and Warraich.
Is anyone from those clans and have some knowledge about their origins? Also I’ve read about how some Jutt gotras teamed up and formed a confederacy known as the ‘Saroya’ does anyone know any details about them?
Thanks.
