UB Application: Ref # Not Found / No Updates
Hi everyone! I’m looking for some help or advice regarding my UnionBank credit card application.
I previously applied in January and was rejected. I decided to try again this May, but I’m running into several issues:
1. Invalid Reference Number
Every time I call the customer service hotline and input my reference number, the system says it's invalid.
2. Tracker Issues
I’ve tried the website’s application tracker and the Rafa chatbot, but neither can find any record of my application.
3. Radio Silence
I haven’t received a single SMS or email confirmation, even though the website states these should be sent automatically with your reference number.
I’m honestly so confused—what’s the point of these reference numbers if they don’t work in their own system?
Has anyone else experienced this "floating" status? Should I try to reach a live agent, or is this a sign that the application didn't go through properly?
