We all road 7'5s and 7'75s in our teens and never thought about sizes back then and it all worked out. I'm 6'5 225lbs with 13'5 shoe size and long ass legs. Just got back a few months ago, bought a 8.25 globe complete to ease into it again.
I notice I'm having trouble staying below the bolts pushing around and the other day jumping down a box I spraind my foot due to having a short wheelbase, so iv decided to size up.
The thing is I like technical skating and I'm afraid a bigger board will make that hard. Right now I'm eyeing a impact board for longevity at 8.75 with 14.75 wheelbase and some thunders to increase that wheelbase closer to 15.
How much harder do you guys think going to 8.75 and 15ish wheelbase from 8.25 with 14.25 wheelbase will it be for me to flip this surfboard around?
