This might be a stupid question, but I dont know a lot about PC's so better safe then sorry. Thanks in advance for the help!
I bought a new laptop (STRIX SCAR 16, 275HX/5080 with 32 GB of DDR5 ram). I noticed that only 1 of the 2 RAM slots is filled. As far as im aware, this reduces the PC's performance a lot. I use the laptop for office work and some gaming, mostly RTS or single player AAA games, so i'm usually fine with 60+ FPS at native resolution. 32GB is enough for that, but the single channel performance loss might make it worth it to upgrade.
Finding the exact same RAM stick is very expensive/nearly impossible here in the Netherlands. I did find another one that i think might work, but i need your opinion about it (and if its worth it to upgrade in the first place, since i saw some posts that DDR5 single channel isnt that bad). I added some screenshots from CPU-Z (slot 2 is listed as empty).
I want to fill the second slot with this one (its in Dutch, sorry, but i think the specs are clear)
Long story short, will these match and is it needed to upgrade for the dual-channel performance or will the performance gain be barely noticable? This one sells for €359,-
