Okay, so I’m currently building a vacation home in a high-key humid and hot area and I’m losing my mind. I’m looking for some design help for my home. I’m not a designer and I’m struggling to bridge the gap between my inspiration and the practical reality of my house's construction and location.

the house is made up of laterite stone and i can't use wood cause of the humidity and termite problem.

I like the ethereal whimsical vibes but idk how to make a laterite stone house whimsical but practical without using high maintenance materials like wood, wallpapers or super textured flooring.

Also im not sure which colors would go well with laterite's color and still look like the inspo i like.

WHAT I WANNA KNOW:
please recommend me materials for flooring and walls that will match my aesthetic in a laterite stone house and also how to source those materials 😭

i have attached some inspo i liked :/
