The action cost of activating ammunition seems to make it not worth using in most situations (unless triggering a weakness) when paired with a weapon that has to be reloaded after every shot as well.
Using a Reload 0 or Repeating weapon allows you to activate ammunition and still attack twice without any action compression feats. But a reload weapon can only attack once after activating ammunition unless using Risky Reload. Which is a flourish action, can misfire, and leaves you with an empty weapon.
Gunslinger with Munitions Crafter has the easiest access to alchemical ammunition, but are limited to using non-repeating weapons to benefit from Slinger’s Precision.
Would it be too strong to allow alchemical and magical ammunition to be activated as part of a reload action?
