Asus VivoBook 15 OLED - WiFi Not Working

Hi, I bought an Asus VivoBook 15 OLED 15.6" M1505YA-R77BOHDPS1 which came with no OS. I installed Windows 11 64-bit and during the installation I was asked to connect to the internet in order to proceed with installation.

I downloaded the Wifi Driver from here https://www.asus.com/supportonly/m1505ya/helpdesk_download/ as I did not have an ethernet cable at hand and the laptop does not have an ethernet port. I proceeded to put the driver installation .exe on a thumb drive, but when I connected it to the laptop it couldn't install the driver.

In order to proceed with the installation I pressed "Shif + F10" and ran oobe\bypassnro on the console. From there I was able to select the "proceed" without internet option and installed Windows 11 successfully.

However, I haven't been able to turn on my wifi. I tried installing the drive using the previously metioned .exe, it apparently installs without issue, but upon restarting the Laptop, it's as if nothing happened and I am still without Wifi.

I tried the following solutions and nothing worked:

  • Resetting the network
  • Extracting the drive to a folder and manually adding it to Device Manager through the "Actions Menu"
  • I set WLANAutoConfig in Services to Automatic (it was Manual and Not running), I then hit ran and apply, rebooted and nothing
  • I opened CMD as Admin and ran netsh winsock reset. Rebooted, no dice

When I open Device Manager (hidden devices set to visible) this is what shows up.

Is this a hardware issue or is ASUS providing the wrong driver on their support page for this laptop? Or is there anything else I can do?
