Maybe the trailer showed all the good parts and the movie itself had nothing else to offer, or maybe the trailer gave away enough information to predict the whole plot and even spoil the big twist ending. Maybe the movie was good, maybe it was bad, but it didn't matter because the trailer totally ruined it anyway.
