Turns out, to my absolute surprise that no, they don't.
I play tank 70% of the time, support most of the rest, but i can confidently play all roles (in the rare occasions i get to).
Today i decided to play dps, unless i was the third one, in that case i would play one of my main roles. If i lock first, i stay on dps. Of course that resulted more often than not in 3 dps and a solo tank (sorry you guys, it was for science).
What. The. Fuck. How can any of you dps mains enjoy this? It's fucking miserable. You don't get space to do anything, your healers are CONSTANTLY dealing with divers and can't heal you, can´t group up, can't have a proper formation, can't formulate any strategy that isn't just "shoot whatever is closest and red".
No wonder you want supports nerfed, you leave that poor guy solo tanking and you never get an opportunity to even interact with their backlines, let alone kill the supports. If i was a developer i would never, ever, listen to anything a dps players has to say, unconditionally.
Are the crayons so far up your noses that you genuinely prefer playing like this than swapping to second vanguard? I thought you instalock never-swap dps were by far the biggest issue with this game, now i'm !00% sure of it. You are THE reason why the game feels unbalanced and miserable to play.
