Miscommunication Between University & Professors

Online student here. I had my last exam for my bachelor's degree open yesterday until tomorrow at midnight. Messaged my professor about cancellation after getting the first email about May 8 and 9 Canvas exams being cancelled, but he announced that it still needs to get done once Canvas went back up. I ended up taking it earlier today just for the peace of mind, but I'm wondering how this back-and-forth is going to go with this latest email. Regardless, I'm headed off to AZ for graduation—best of luck to everyone else who's still seeing how to approach this!

Would love to hear your feedback on this! As far as Middle Eastern/Islamic cyberpunk goes, there isn't much (When Gravity Fails + its sequels, and Alif the Unseen are the only ones I could really find). My story has typical cyberpunk themes (surveillance states, image/video manipulation, popular revolts against the corrupt elite, etc.) mixed in with Islamic mysticism and jurisprudence.
