Hey everyone,

I’ve got a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and I’ve run into an issue with my left-side mirror mount.

The female thread on the clutch perch is completely gone, and now the mirror just spins and won’t tighten.

I wanted to check with you all:

Has anyone faced this on the Himalayan 450?

Is a helicoil/thread insert a reliable long-term fix?

Or is it better to just replace the whole clutch perch assembly?

Also open to any other practical fixes you’ve tried.
