Be aware of this possible real-estate tactic in Thailand
If you have any experience with renting property in Thailand or even communicating with any realtors, you start to realize that most of the listings are just for generating leads. That specific unit might not be available, images might not be accurate, even prices might be lower, to attract you to it. It's not like America where most of what you see is what it is. However the more i communicate with realtors I notice this pattern where they'll tell you the listed unit is available at a specific price that looks appealing, then in no time they'll tell you its no longer available. Then they'll show you a downgraded unit at that specific price you're looking for, or they'll show you a similar style and size unit, but at a higher price. I could be wrong, however you gotta be very cautious in a country where people are very nice and are not confrontational. It's a touristy country, so you're often getting played so they can take your money. Even though what they're taking isn't properly significant to you, but it is when you get comfortable and ish starts to add up. Always negotiate unless the deal is already lower than market value. BE CAUTIOUS OF EVERY FUCKING PENNY THAT LEAVES YOUR POCKET!
