First time using agar, im trying to clone a dried mushroom. With that said, i really dont know what im looking at. What is this dark aura around the mushroom?

Fruiting a SNAPE block in a 28 qt monotub, 76 days since box. The colonized spots are from me not packing down the cake after bns🤡 rookie mistake.

Just looking for advice, need to know how my cake looks.

Day 72, Harvest Day.

Not to brag or anything, but this is my first harvest 😏. The strain is Jack Frost. I didn’t wait for the caps to fold but the veil had broke and i was so eager to just pick something at this point! I picked 6 mushrooms and 1 little tiny cute abort.

(The cake isn’t cracking because it’s dry i dropped it about a month ago)

I’m just curious to why haven’t these gotten bigger yet? I’m currently 9 days in to pins, and honestly i’m not really worried abt getting a huge mushroom but 9 days in and this is all it’s gonna do?😂

also saw that the mushrooms are really growing only on one of the sides really besides the one larger mushroom.

Thoughts ? Concerns ? Mush Love🍄🫶🏻
