The last 3 months and before, houses were being listed for astronomically beyond their value. I complained on Reddit often about homes on the 900 block of Alfred, and redwood, and college going for $270,000+. Even Cathedral and that part of the north end was going for $250,000 starting. EK and anything north (Greene, Hazel Dell) was all going for $400,000+

Now all of a sudden a house on Cathedral that was going for $210,000 is now going for $199,000. The North end homes in those parts I named dropped back to low $200,000s to high $100,000. Almost like 2022 pricing.

What happened? Are people just saying “fuck that” to those neighborhoods?
