I’ve just discovered water stains on the ceiling of my garage. The roof shingles were replaced around 2019, and the contractor installed a new eavestrough. What are the chances that the leak is coming from the nails used to secure the eavestrough shown in the photo? Is this a common way to secure an eavestrough to the roof? It doesn't look right to me.
