1st time henna application question
Hello All,
I live in the US and have been following this community for a few months now and I have learned so much about Henna from this community. I have been trying to decide whether or not I want to commit to using henna and the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me.
I decided to order Henna Sooqs Red Raj and also bought aloe as well.
Why am I scared I’m going to mess things up?? I’ve seen so many different tips and tricks and different methods that people use and I just immediately felt like I might mess up my hair if I do it. So at this point, I don’t know what to use and what not to use.
A little background on my hair; I do not dye my hair often(I would say once a year at most)and I recently used a red ammonia free box dye with keratin about a month ago.
My hair is naturally medium brown, wavy/curly and I am biracial so it can get pretty frizzy and annoying at times. So basically I think what I need to know is, what possible color outcomes can be expected if using Henna Sooqs Red Raj and also what advice would experienced henna users recommend? I do love deep brown/copperish Burgundy colors because they look nice with my skin tone, but I have read about henna dye not being able to specifically achieve certain colors naturally. I don’t want to make this complicated and add in all kinds of different ingredients, so if someone can make this easier on me, I would appreciate it. Please help lol the henna has been sitting on my counter and I really want to use it. I’m going to attach a reference photo of my hair type. I also will attach a current picture of my hair with the red dye. Any and all advice is welcome. Thank you so much.😊
