Hi, I just moved into an apartment which doesn't have any ethernet or coax jacks in any of the rooms. Instead, they use a centrally managed wifi which comes into a small closet in the apartment via ethernet, then is connected to a wireless access point via ethernet coupler. The ISP is Xfinity on a bulk plan which I can opt out of and get my own plan.
I would much rather have a router in the office that I can connect my pc to with an ethernet cable so I am not stuck using wifi to game. What are the odds a technician could run a new line into the apartment and install a coax port in the office?
