Long winded, so thank you greatly for those who read to the end!! I'm 28 F, engaged, have 4 cats, and I've been officially unemployed since Oct 2025 (stopped working and was on a 90 day transition period starting August 2025).

I went to college for Cybersecurity (Digital Forensics and Information Assurance majors). Had trouble finding a job after graduation (2021) and finally landed a job as an IT Auditor. I worked that awful job for 3 years before an even more awful manager found a way to push me out - I was given the option of a 60 day PIP or a 90 transition period. I opted for the transition period because I was done with the awful manager.

Fast forward to now, May 2026, and I regret going to school for Cyber (I cant find a job/I am really not interested in anything I AM finding) and I'm lost as to what my true calling would be. I like helping people so I contemplated the medical field but after having an interview for an "earn while you learn" CNA trainee position, I dont think nursing is an end goal. As for my interests, I like hiking, cats, crafts, and reading.. but those aren't really careers. I've even applied a ton of no experience needed, minimum wage jobs while I'm looking for something I enjoy, and I'm not even hearing back from those.

Extremely lost and extremely not hopeful I'll ever find my calling.
