Had a haircut last Friday, it’s probably the most offensive haircut I’ve ever had. The stylist offered to fix it, but said they’d have to really take more length off to blend it. Obviously I don’t necessarily trust the stylist to correct what I left with.

I’m seeking a new stylist (skilled in texturizing/razor cutting probably) that can help blend/thin this, or reshape overall. I asked for mid-neck length to refresh my long bob with light texturing/blending on the ends to break up the weight. I’ve got a chin-length bob with harsh layers that’s longer on one side and in the back. Can it be salvaged? Should I just go for a long pixie? Willing to do anything at this point.

Hi! I booked a last-minute cut yesterday just to trim up/refresh my longer bob. My hair was about shoulder-length, but I usually keep it about mid-neck.

I specifically asked for: a bit of length taken off to get it off my shoulders, but definitely as close to the mid-neck as possible or longer than chin length. Light texture or softening on the ends so it's not too blunt. I included a reference photo.

Please see photos below for how I left. She had me turned away from the mirror the entire time, but I also had reference photos that we went over multiple times so I felt comfortable! I immediately started crying, and she told me to just give it a few weeks to get closer to the references. Okay, cool.

How can I get rid of this stacking and overall uneven cut without losing too much more length? I don't have a budget for extensions but I am willing to get some added in the front to bring a bit of length back around my face. Should I just order a few nice wigs? I have a few big events and a trip in the coming weeks, so I can't just stay home and wear a bucket hat. Please help!
