Hotel behavior - is this really a "tip"?

Had to share this post by an individual on Linkedin and it has over 200 likes. Is this news to any of you? What are your thoughts?

The best travel tip I got for ya.
(A friend had to remind me recently)

Try to leave your hotel room as clean as you found it!

You know all those times you arrive early and wanna get into a room…

Imagine if everyone made it super easy for the housekeepers to turn your room in no time?

Here’s what I do on my way out.

-> Bundle my towels up in one pile.
-> Trash is put in every can.
-> Wipe down the bathroom counter.
-> Fridge is cleaned out of any extra food.
-> Hangers back in the closet.
-> Ironing board put up.
-> Pillows back on the bed for easy access.

I bet it brings more joy to a housekeeper when they see a room pretty spotless.
