So this is my first time posting to reddit and english isnt my first language so im sorry if i make any mistakes but i came here for some advice i am F17 and live with my mom my dad is out of the picture i have 3 older brothers but they are living there life and are all grown and married and live far away from my current state
I had what seemed to be a argument of some sort with my mom yesterday when she came home i was laying down i was tired as i ride my bike and where i live right now its been super hot and i just wanted to rest and she tells me to help her carry a box from the car and i just mention how she didnt tell me before so i could do it before coming up and taking my dog out and she said she needed to use the bathroom and then said she would just do it herself and of course i am tired but im still going to help her so i tell her that and when i go to put on shoes she goes to close the door i manage to get through and then as we walk down the stairs she says for me to not come with attitude but i was what so ever not angry so i tell her and this is the part where maybe i messed up but i said '' im not angry but you can if you want'' and she responded with ''i will'' and then thats when she started ignoring me i asked her if she was and she said yes now she had said the box was heavy it was not
As we got home i was still getting ingnored so i just went to my room and didnt close the door then she came and through some shoes and jacket on the ground not saying a word and then went to sleep and next day went to work during school she texts me saying how i dont care if she ignores me and i had said that if she wanted to get mad over something so small then she could and i told her to have a good day and i did nothing wrong from what i see other then have small attuide overall i am a good kid i dont skip school i dont smoke or drink or rebel and she always has to say the last word so she tells me that i was rude and she is my mother and she is going to get mad because i said it rude and she says goodbye and she came home today and i asked if she was still ignoring me and she responds with yes and then i go back to my room and close the door because she is cooking and i dont want it to smell like food
The door slams a bit because i have the window open and the wind slams it a short while after she comes in my room and says ''see if youll eat something'' and slams the door a bit im about to go to college but im not having a dorm as its to much money and finding a job has been super hard but ive been looking for somwhere else to live and the rent is from 1,000 to 955 thats all i need to say i just want some advice and i dont know if this is the right place to go
oh and if this means anything my mom is mexican
