Recently I was driving along Anson Road turning right to Maxwell road.

I was on the 2nd lane turning into the 2nd lane, hence, was of the opinion that 1st lane turns to 1st and 2nd lane turns to 2nd (as per the green line shown), but a foreigner driver horned me and insisted she was supposed to go 1st lane to 2nd, while I go 2nd to 3rd (as per red line).

Bearing in mind that 1st lane on Maxwell Road is right turn only, 2nd lane is forward & right, 3rd lane is forward and left.

This made me question my thinking for a while.
