In a lecture hall I noticed a girl staring at me and smiling while doing so. There wasn’t anyone sitting behind me im pretty sure. Another time when lecture started she came in and chose to sit in my row (not directly next to me, but still in the same row).

I also caught her glancing over at me a few more times during the lecture. I genuinely can’t tell if I’m overthinking it or not because I’ve always thought I was unattractive, so Ive never assumed someone could actually be interested in me.

From a body language perspective, does repeated eye contact and smiling and choosing the same row usually suggest attraction or curiosity? Or could it easily mean nothing?
