A werewolf wearing a jacket (Art by me)

A werewolf wearing an M65 jacket.

His name is Mik Bayer, a university student at Miska University. Because he was transformed later in life, he is not accustomed to remaining naked in his wolf form the way naturally born werewolves are.

P.S. I messed up the hand while drawing it. With no other solution, I had to fix it using correction tape, though unfortunately the edit marks couldn’t be completely hidden.

Under the sky (Art by me)

Sorry for reposting, but I felt the original drawing had some flaws, so I decided to revise it.

Basically, this piece is about a werewolf experiencing the tranquility and vitality of the early morning.

Under the sky (Art by me)

I want to portray a werewolf beneath this kind of peaceful scenery at dawn.

And also to practice my ability to draw body anatomy.

White CM-21

The image is taken from a July 2022 report by the Taiwanese media LTN:

https://news.ltn.com.tw/news/politics/breakingnews/4007669?utm\_source=chatgpt.com

Sorry for posting again in such a short period of time, but I thought this was pretty interesting. I’ve never seen a white-painted CM-21 before (though, to be fair, I’ve never actually seen a CM-21 in person).

According to the article, the four white-painted CM-21 armored personnel carriers were likely painted that way by the Army’s Huadong Defense Command (“Huadong” refers to Hualien and Taitung, which are located in eastern Taiwan) for base defense operations. The white paint scheme was intended to better match the terrain and environment around the airport. The camouflage and paint schemes of armored vehicles are often adapted depending on operational requirements. For example, armored vehicles used by troops stationed in Kinmen (a small island off the coast of China governed by Taiwan) are sometimes coated with Kinmen’s distinctive red soil to improve camouflage and deception. Likewise, some armored vehicles on Taiwan proper may also be covered with mud from beach areas when carrying out coastal defense missions in order to blend into the environment better.

Puppy waiting for their partner to come home. (Art by me)

Imagine it’s already close to midnight, yet your partner still hasn’t come home. They’re probably stuck in a meeting that ran too late — that’s Karl’s situation right now.

P.S. Unfortunately, I messed up the head this time. I also misspelled “Puppy,” so I deleted the original post and reposted it. Please forgive these mistakes.

Wolf Warrior-Modern Version(Art by me)

Actually, they are wolf beastmen rather than werewolves. However, the two are quite similar, so I decided to post this work here as well.

I drew this as a concept piece for one of my worldbuilding settings. The story takes place during a civil war that has lasted for 36 years, in which both sides began using biotechnology to create wolf beastmen as military assets.

The second image is the reference picture, taken from the Chinese Wikipedia.

First time trying to draw tiger stripe camouflage. (Art by me)

Previously, I came up with the idea of recoloring the Taiwan (ROC) Marine Corps old camouflage using an MTP-style color palette, and used AI to visualize the concept:

https://www.reddit.com/r/camouflage/s/LpfFlVGhlf

Today, I tried to draw this concept by hand. This was my first time trying to draw tiger stripe camouflage. It doesn’t look very accurate, but at least it was a good learning experience. What do you think of my work?

Images 1 and 2 are two different versions, while images 3 and 4 are the reference uniform designs.

Draft of Karl’s human appearance (Art by me)

Compared to drawing werewolves or wolf-type furry characters, I’ve always been bad at drawing humans. However, as everyone knows, werewolves are creatures that possess both human and beastly aspects at the same time, so if I want to properly establish Karl’s appearance, drawing his human form is necessary.

So I put in some effort, crammed a bit from a Chinese Loomis tutorial book about how to draw human heads, and applied the various anatomy knowledge I learned into this drawing. After some effort, Karl’s human appearance finally took shape (although in my imagination he looks a bit more youthful, while I accidentally drew him looking somewhat older). This is already my limit, so please forgive me if it doesn’t look very good 😅.

In my imagination, he is a white young man of Germanic-region descent, with red eyes caused by later circumstances, and reddish-brown hair. In order to create a distinction from Asian facial features, I spent some effort on the facial structure, trying to draw the more defined facial depth commonly associated with white people. (As for why I made him white, it’s because I think werewolves are originally a creature from European folklore, so making the character European feels more convincing to me.)

His height is around 180 cm, and his age is estimated to be around 20 years old, while his werewolf form is about 200 cm tall. Image 2 roughly shows what Karl’s werewolf form looks like as well (especially the eye color and fur pattern distribution). It’s also just a rough sketch, so please forgive the poor quality.

What do you all think about it?

By the way, this was drawn on the back side of already-used photocopy paper. I found the roughness of this work kind of funny myself, so I decided to also show everyone what the other side of the paper looks like😂.

What do you all think about this camouflage uniform? (Not a commercial promotion)

Please forgive me for making a second post in such a short time, but after experimenting with the MTP-colored tiger stripe camouflage earlier by AI, it reminded me of this camouflage pattern I saw online some time ago.

This uniform was released by TRU-SPEC, and the pattern was named by the seller as “Multi-Terrain Tiger Stripe Camouflage.” What do you all think about this camouflage design?

P.S. I have no commercial relationship with this seller, and this post is not intended to promote the product.

The text in the second image translates:

Asian Version Combat Shirt Multi-Terrain Tiger Stripe Special Operations Edition Asian Version Multi-Terrain Tiger Stripe Special Operations BDU – Shirt Tiger stripe camouflage has long been a symbol of special forces.

This pattern combines multi-terrain camouflage with tiger stripe elements. Developed with advanced design expertise, this product is specially offered in an Asian version. Tailored specifically to better fit Asian body proportions.

I asked ChatGPT to redraw the old Taiwan (ROC) Marine Corps camouflage using the color palette of MTP. (AI-generated content)

This post contains AI-generated material. If you dislike AI-related content, please feel free to ignore this post.

First, I want to explain the motivation behind creating this camouflage pattern:

I imagined it for a fictional alternate-history setting. In this story, after the violent suppression of the 1989 Tiananmen protests, several southeastern provinces of China rise up against the Beijing central government. These rebel regions accept the command of the Kuomintang government in Taiwan (ROC) and merge with it, leading to a Third Chinese Civil War. Supported respectively by Russia and the United States, the two sides continue fighting for 36 years.(I know this premise may sound politically controversial because it touches on real-world politics, but I hope everyone can view it purely as a fictional creative setting.)

For the Communist Chinese faction in the story, I plan to use the same Type 21 “Xingkong” uniforms as in real life, so I did not redesign them.

However, I felt that Taiwan’s real-world Digital Camouflage Combat Uniform (DCCU) was probably designed specifically around Taiwan’s terrain and climate. Using it directly as the combat camouflage for an ROC faction fighting across all of China for decades felt somewhat unrealistic. Because of that, I decided to experiment with a hybrid/original camouflage design instead.

I used the old Taiwan (ROC) Marine Corps camouflage as the base pattern and recolored it using the palette of MTP. My goal was to create something with a MultiCam-like feeling, but since the only reference material I physically had on hand was MTP-derived equipment, I decided to go with that approach.

Lastly, because my art skills are not yet good enough to properly create camouflage patterns by hand, I used AI as a tool to preview whether the design idea would actually look good in practice. So I generated this camouflage pattern as a visual reference for future work.

What do you all think about it? (Specifically regarding the camouflage design.)

Are plate carriers commonly used by regular military forces nowadays, or are they still mostly associated with special forces? (Discussion)

This is my first time posting here, and English is not my native language, so I used AI to help translate this post. Please forgive me if anything sounds awkward or if I misunderstand the community norms.

I wanted to ask: are plate carriers commonly issued to regular military forces in most countries nowadays, or are they still more associated with special forces units? I don’t have a military background myself, and my knowledge of military gear is still fairly limited.

The reason I started wondering about this is because I recently came across some photos online showing military exercises from my own country. The people in the photos were military police personnel, and many of them appeared to be equipped with what looked like plate carriers.

However, since they are military police rather than regular army infantry, it made me curious about how soldiers in the regular armed forces of most developed countries are typically equipped today, and whether plate carriers have become common among ordinary frontline troops in modern militaries.

The images are taken from online news sources and video screenshots.

Puppies like to chew on anything they find (Art by me)

Clearly, Karl can’t control his urge to chew on things. I guess that’s one way his wild instincts show themselves XD

Part of the inspiration came from the Chinese Wikipedia, which says: “小狗喜歡在它發現的任何東西上面磨牙,” meaning “Puppies like to chew on anything they find.”

Please forgive me for posting something this rough. I came up with these ideas while I was at school, so all I had were some copy paper, a pencil, and a ballpoint pen to draw with. But honestly, drawing this way somehow felt more free and natural compared to when I carefully plan out the whole composition beforehand. And to be honest, for such a rough sketch, I think it turned out surprisingly well — maybe even better than some of the pieces I made after overthinking the structure first. 😅

His name is Karl Müller. In the setting, he suffers from irreversible amnesia and has forgotten everything about himself, so his background remains unknown. Fortunately, he still retains human language ability (German). In human form, he appears to be a brown-haired European white male, estimated to be around 20 years old. Because of his amnesia, he has a rather simple and innocent personality.

Although he is actually a wolf-shaped anthropomorphic character rather than a werewolf, I still wanted to share this image.

His name is Mardue Jacob. (Mardue is his last name; in his world, the last name comes first.)
