Map Types

Just curious, but which map type do you prefer: The Dead Island/Dead Island Riptide maps, where the whole map is blacked out and is slowly uncovered as you explore the place, and you can place navpoints anywhere on it. Or do you prefer the Dead Island 2 maps, where you can see everything and know exactly where to go via the icons(including knowing what they are about) but can only place navpoints on those locations?

Decided to make a grid as well (28M)

A surprisingly hard list to make, but oh well. It was fun. And yes, some are a bit odd.
