Got this 30in lava lamp from Amazon awhile back because it’s so big. it’s supposed to be clear liquid w/ purple wax and the liquid hasn’t been clear since I took it out the box for the first time; I’ve let it sit to try and settle, I’ve let it run for hours and still cloudy… is there no other way to clear it up?

I’ve pondered just getting supplies from a online lava lamp shop to customize it and fix the issue, but I want to see what folks who probably know more than me think before I just crack it open and go wild.
