Random soccer rule thought but something that bugs me consistently. Could they create a rule that the first person on the team with possession who touches the ball outside the touchline has to throw it in. I get so irritated with the slow ass hand offs that happens frequently.
I guess it could backfire and players would take their sweet time getting to the ball, but I just wonder if there is an effective rule to stop this to speed up play.
