Has anyone dealt with anything like this? My 1 year old has always loved tasting food but he just gags on solids. When he was a newborn he even gagged on the dummy, and my boob at the wrong angle. We’ve finally gotten referred to a speech therapist who is super concerned about how he can’t drink water without coughing, even with a thin straw. She thinks he has enlarged adenoids (he also snores, has always mouth breathed, sleeps with his neck arched, and is always tired during the day), and referred us to an ent who we’re seeing next week. I can’t seem to find much about adenoids affecting eating and drinking this severely. Has anyone had a kiddo this bad before?
