UPS delivered this lovely Sorrento to me. This was almost certainly made by Kawai, probably in the late '60s or early '70s. (I have another Kawai offset that I really love.) I really like these pickups. I have pickups that at least look like these in a couple of other guitars (including a Teisco lap steel). The ones that I've owned retained some clarity, even when dimed into a nearly dimed tube amp.

I need to install new strings and sort out the intonation. I may also try to find an appropriate whammy bar.
