Homeland: The Game (2015) is a solid semi-coop board game focused on paranoia and hidden roles. You play as CIA analysts dealing with global threats—but someone at the table might be working against you.

It’s easy to learn, plays quickly, and does a great job building tension. The mix of roles (including a chaos-loving opportunist) keeps things interesting, and there’s always that “who can I trust?” vibe.

That said, balance can feel off—terrorists sometimes have it a bit too easy—and the endgame reveal can be predictable with smaller groups.

If you like social deduction games like Battlestar Galactica, it’s worth a try. Just make sure you’ve got the right group.

PS: In the series Homeland (2011-2020), Carrie's character was recruited into the CIA right after college and is supposedly 32 years old when the series began airing. In real life, Claire Danes was the same age at the start of the series.
