How best to get out of loan

Looking for some advice.

I have a 2019 Nissan Frontier that I purchased a few years ago. It was exactly what I needed at the time, but now I’ve moved to a new city where I rarely drive it, and when I do I’m making long hauls for camping, not exactly great with recent gas prices.

I’m looking to get a much cheaper vehicle to change to, but I still owe almost $14,000 @ $330 a month. The payments aren’t killing me, but between parking, insurance, and the payment for something I rarely use it’s becoming extremely frustrating.

Private sale seems to be the only option for me to make a clean break, but have had no luck. Quotes from dealers & Carvana have been around the 10k mark. Is the best bet to roll over the negative equity and take the hit, or do I have another option?

Thanks for your input
