So I am currently 22, and when I was in middle or elementary school I played a game that I was obsessed with. I know I first and last played it before 2017. I remember seeing other players , so I know it was multi-player, but I don't know if it count as an mmorpg(hence the question mark in the title). I remember the camera was above the player, but not directly above the player. There were like panels and you character could move in that panel, but the camera would not follow you directly unless you left the immediate visual area. I think when you fist spawn in your like in a forest, but the path is like a 'U' shape, so there is really only one way to go. The path led to a town with a centerpiece(statue or fountain, im not sure which) when you first logged on it was like one of the initial places you visited. I remember that one time I logged on and there was like an event thing going on. It was like an invasion or a bbeg that was doing something. I only remember there was these purple or red tentacle, infection things that were all over the town. The I still log on screen where you create an account or input you username and password was dark, not black, but like a really dark color, and I think it had either gold(yellow), or silver(white/gray) accents.

This is all I remember. I know this isn't a lot to go on, because that is like 90% of fantasy games, but it's been knawing at me, and I figured this was the best place to find answers.
