I want - show with the “you came, you called”Trope, but where one character is fed up with showing up to the other one

Maybe they always turn up, but only because they love the character so much but it frustrates them and maybe isn’t fully reciprocated if you catch my drift?

Hopefully that makes sense. Looking forward to suggestions.
