Hi everyone,

My wife and I both have separate Oracle Cloud accounts (currently on Free Tier). We are two different people with our own IDs and separate credit cards, but we live in the same house, share the same public IP, and often use the same desktop computer.

We are planning to upgrade both accounts to Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) because we want the added stability and don't mind paying for what we use. However, I’ve heard horror stories about Oracle’s automated systems banning accounts for "duplicate profiles."

My questions are:

Does the fact that we share the same hardware and IP put us at risk of being flagged as a single person trying to bypass Free Tier limits?
Does upgrading to PAYG make the accounts "safer" in terms of fraud detection, since we'll be verified paying customers?
Has anyone here successfully maintained two separate accounts in the same household without issues?

I want to make sure I’m following the TOS correctly before we commit to the upgrade. Thanks in advance!
