Coming up to five months on
I'm coming up to five months since I was circumcised on the NHS in the UK due to phimosis.
I wanted to share how positive and liberating it has been for me.
My phimosis meant I felt very self conscious receding oral sex and,as a gay man, anxious about taking on the top role.
Since being cut, I've loved receiving oral sex and topping (which wasn't the mysterious, daunting experience I'd imagined).
My only regret is not having had it done sooner, my delay being shame of talking to my GP and, really, not even knowing phimosis existed (praise be for a Grindr profile with a NO PHIMOSIS declaration which led me to looking it up.)
Here's a photo I took earlier in the week. Still some slight scarring, but I imagine that will fade in time.
