did anyone mess up their oral and still get in??

i’m fairly confident in my written exam results but i couldn’t answer a lot of the questions that the interviewer was looking for such as examples of more hormones and some details of translation. lowkey she was smiling a bit after i said i don’t remember and it felt like she was laughing at me 😭 this is my second try so i don’t have any more chances…

sorry if this is a dumb question but i wanted to get people’s actual experiences with this because i know that uni websites can overhype this…how viable is it for an hku student to get a study abroad semster in say, london or ameria? i am thinking to take bsc or biomedical science. thank u so much!

i have lived in hong kong but i dont speak cantonese and im brown…will that make it difficult for me to make friends?? i have this impression that us universities are more diverse and welcoming and its easier to find your “group”. for context i will either be studying bsc or biomedical science and i heard that stem subjects have a bit less international students compared to business etc??

also is it common for hk based students to live with their parents or is it better to live in the dorms

i have an offer for bsc for 34 points on my finals but i have a predicted 44..will it matter if i drop to a 35 or 36 in terms of job hunting, internships, and courses?
