I (F25) still live with my mum. She got pissed at me for ordering mounjaro and said I "just need to stop eating shite and move more." She doesn't understand I'm insulin resistant and constantly crave carbs and sweets and I have constant food noise. She and my dad also have type 2 diabetes and I'm trying to stop myself from getting it.

I (F25) live in the UK. Mounjaro is not being prescribed on the NHS for women with PCOS but I don't have the money to get it privately. I've decided to open a savings pot in my bank and save up so I currently have £60 in it. I'm neurodivergent and have sensory issues. Both my parents are type 2 diabetic so I'm at a genetic risk but if I were to get diabetes it would literally kill me, as I wouldn't be able to prick my fingers as even the thought makes me feel nauseous. In a way I'm trying to save my own life too.
