V50 does the job. Works on med/hi pile carets too!
I received my V50 on 5/6 and had it map and do its first overnight clean. I was concerned because I just returned a Z60 because its navigation was erratic, confused and a total FAIL on my living room medium/high pile carpet. I was worried the V50 would also fail in these areas. Thankfully the V50 nailed it with a “beautiful” map showing nice straight lines both on hard floors, low and high pile carpets. I do have it leave the mops behind when cleaning carpets.
The one thing I wish they would add to the app is the ability to turn off threshold climbing. We have no thresholds but it tries to climb my fireplace hearth which is about 2 inches. It tries and gets its wheels stuck off the ground. I added a barrier to the map so this can be avoided but it would be nice to have the ability to disable threshold climbing.
A useful feature I noticed is control of the Pet cleaning solution. The app now has the feature to use the solution once a week for daily cleaning scenarios or for every cleaning scenario. We have a dog and cat so we appreciate this feature.
All considered, “Just a Dad” is right about this one - at least in my stress trial.
