Question about muscle wasting

I notice alot of people posting about muscle wasting. For me I wasted muscles around my shoulders and chest and after that the fasculations started in this area’s. Ive read alot about this being comon in ALS. The fasculations are pretty much non-stop without a break. Also i feel a nerve pain/cramping pain in this area’s. Do other people experience the same pattern/wasting and then fasculations happening?

Hi I would like to know how you guys deal with this mentaly. What tips do you Guys have? How do you keep yourself away from getting insane? For example. I keep telling myself in 33 years of age and this all had a onset on age 29. The chances of ALS in my age group are extremely low ( even in 10 years in my country probaly only 150 people ). Still I cant take this. The twitches are very localized for me which must be ALS in my head. Always same spots all day long…. This tells me it MUST be…

Around spring 2022, my life slowly started turning into a nightmare. It began with tingling in my feet, frequent urination, and difficulty focusing my vision. By August, I developed sharp pain on the right side of my body. In November, I became ill with what seemed like a sinus infection, along with ringing in my right ear that soon affected both ears. My vision also changed, with floaters and visual snow–like symptoms.
During that same period, I started experiencing muscle twitching in my left arm and legs, and the neuropathy gradually spread toward my torso. From 2023 to now (2026), my symptoms have continued to worsen. I now have a persistently dry mouth, diarrhea, widespread muscle spasms, and neuropathy affecting my face.
At the moment, I’m also experiencing hypnic jerks in my limbs while at rest. I had this earlier on, it went away for a while, but has now returned strongly for the past six months.
Despite many medical tests, no cause has been found. I’ve read about long COVID, and many of my symptoms seem to match b12 problems. but unlike others, I don’t experience periods of improvement—only steady worsening.
Male, 33. Are there others with similar symptoms and progression?

Hi everyone, i have been dealing with progressive neuro symptoms for 4 years now without a diagnosis. Its getting harder for me to function daily and i would like to have some input on what other progressive neurological diseases can mimick my symptoms. I have been dealing with loads of progressive neuropathy, muscle problems, specialy twitching and now pain added and problems with my autonomic system. EMG done at almost year 2 was clear, so was MRI and blood tests. I am stuck and dont know where to turn next. Any advise/stories?
