I was wondering, how do you all think Manon's nails work?

If they needed to fit within her fingers, they couldn’t be that long. But if there is some magic going on, I guess they could be a lot longer. In some of the fan art she has insanely long nails.

I've been thinking about this for far too long, and wanted to hear what other readers think :)
