I had a crush on this new girl at my highschool for an entire year. She was smart, beautiful and funny, the next year I told her how I felt and she felt the same. However it felt like we dated for the intimacy and not each other. I'll admit that I enjoyed it but I should've focused more on my schooling and been honest to her about my struggles. When she broke up with me I spiraled and grew distant to all of my friends and desperately tried to get back with her and I handled everything poorly. I do wish her the best and she seems happy without me. I am still trying to be me again and I am happy with where I am at.
