Royal Holiday Club cancellation/refund issue after Punta Cana purchase – anyone solved this?
Hello everyone,
My wife and I purchased a Royal Holiday / Royal Vacation Club membership during a trip to Punta Cana about one month ago.
Shortly after signing the contract, we decided to cancel the membership and formally requested cancellation by email. We also went personally to their office/resort location and spoke with the post-sales team, who tried to negotiate alternatives instead of processing the cancellation.
Since then:
- we have sent multiple follow-up emails,
- tried several contacts,
- and requested updates many times,
- but we still have no final response regarding cancellation or refund.
At this point, communication has basically stopped.
We are now considering:
- credit card dispute / chargeback,
- legal action,
- and consumer protection complaints.
Has anyone here successfully:
- canceled a Royal Holiday contract?
- received a refund?
- won a chargeback dispute?
- or found an effective contact inside the company?
