Anyone else hate Mother’s Day? If you said “YESSSS!” then this post is for you! My main gripe this year is my “adult” child is being an ungrateful turd. I say “adult” because she is 18 1/2 and very independent in some ways and very much still dependent on mommy in other ways. The topic of Mother’s Day came up, she says “well, what do you want?” I said I didn’t know and she says in a really snotty way “Well then I won’t get you anything “. I’ve sacrificed my body, my mental sanity, and my identity to this child for the past 18 years of her life and she has the nerve to act like an ungrateful little brat?

PS: I love her and I love being her mother, just needed to vent
