Samsung Monitor C27F396FHU Backlight diffuser acrylic replace Help
Hi everyone,
I have a Samsung monitor C27F396FHU with panel code CY-PK270BNAV1F and the light guide plate / diffuser acrylic inside the backlight cracked on one side.
The LCD itself still works, but now there is:
a huge bright hotspot/light bleed on the right side,
uneven backlight,
and some minor panel lines.
I opened the monitor and found that the transparent acrylic light guide (the piece that spreads the LED light) is physically cracked/chipped.
I cannot find:
a replacement light guide plate (LGP),
diffuser acrylic,
or any donor panel for this model.
Does anyone know:
Where I can find this part?
If another Samsung panel uses the same light guide?
What type of acrylic I should use as a replacement?
(opal/milky/frosted acrylic, diffuser sheet, etc.)(60,2x34,5cm)
The original piece seems to be around 3mm thick and the monitor is edge-lit from one side only.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated because I’m trying to save the monitor instead of throwing it away 😅
