Person who I've met for the first time knew very specific information about me
As title suggests, person who I have interacted briefly due to nature of my work knew very specific information about me. I welcomed him in his language (throughout my career have constant interaction with people from his country). He moved pass me and then turned and said, "You work here xx amount of years right? And you are from xx (country)? Then on his way he also pass by my colleague and said Hello xy (country). We found out accidentaly when I told her about situation and how specific he was and then she told me what he mentioned to her. Both of us have universal look and work for international multiethnic company.
Later on had another interaction with him and he said may I ask you something very private. I agreed because I was intrigued with his previous correct guesses. But this time he guessed wrong I was married and had a xx year old child. When I told him unfortunately its wrong he was shocked he guessed wrong. Like he was really flabbergasted, as he was given a wrong information.
Anyone had situation similar to this? I was intrigued how he could pinpoint something so specific. How could he acquire this information?
