Hello! I'm going to do a little introduction first off. I am 18 years old, I am biracial and I speak Spanish fluently on my mother's side — I was in born in Italy, however! My father is Italian. I will be studying abroad in Tbilisi for one month in Summer. I am a nursing student but I am choosing to minor in Russian, I received a scholarship in order to study in Tbilisi, everything will be paid for. I am at B1 level in Russian and consider myself conversational though my grammar is not perfect. It would be foolish to turn this down I think considering how fortunate I am. 

I understand the historical context and that this isn't the most ideal place to study Russian but I will be attending a school specifically for language learning and I will be at a homestay family. If possible please give me any tips or word of advice or interesting places to visit! I adore everything artistic, alternative, and soulful. 

I am looking for Russian speaking friends whom I can do language exchange and hang out with and learn the ropes of the city and explore around the place! Some of my interests include drawing, writing, fashion, makeup, cooking, photography, fantastical things, collecting teas, reading, and generally just experiencing new things in life. I think of myself as an extrovert though I am a little colder at first! I am the type of person who enjoys going out late and finding neat little shops off the map.
