Mattress for 130lbs side sleepers with HEDS
Y'all. I am going CRAZY shopping for mattresses. Our needs are pretty specific and it is so hard to sort through everything and understand what is really best for us.
Who we are:
- Age 27, 5'4" 120 lbs side sleeper with hypermobility- I often mess up my shoulders in my sleep. I also have sleep apnea.
- Age 28, 5'0" 130 lbs side sleeper with arthritis caused by Crohn's disease.
The options I found before doing a deep dive of r/Mattress and r/MattressMod
1- Saatva RX
2- Helix Sunset Luxe
3- Nolah Evolution Plush
All three of these seem to be recommended for people who are lighter and have back pain. Both the Saatva and Nolah include removal of our old mattress and installation of the new, which is a big perk for us given the our chronic pain.
Then I did a deep dive here... and these brands seem to have mixed feedback
I found Comfort Option and took their quiz and was recommended a C-18-35. I like that they are customizable, seem to be a very ethical company, and have a very reasonable price point compared to the others. However, with my chronic pain issues I am nervous about something that is not zoned.
All in all I am feeling absolutely insane and so confused on how to make this choice. Does anyone have advice on how to choose, or feedback on these specific brands? Does anyone have similar health needs and have a recommendation that works for them?
