Is Dr Amin paying for reviews and testimonials?

Hi everyone, I could do with some advice...

I got cut 1 year ago by [deleted] at [deleted]. The whole process was handled appallingly, and I blame his poor handling of the surgery for the lymphedema that I still have 1 year later.

I went for a checkup at the clinic last month, and they said that the cosmetic result was "perfect", even though I have, on multiple occasions, expressed my extreme dissatisfaction at the outcome (i.e the swollen donut ring edema that is still here). They said that this was "normal" and simply a muscol fold...

I told them I was considering a revision and they strongly recommended against this, so I booked an appointment with Dr Amin at Circumcision Pro in London.

It was Dr Amin who confirmed that I was still suffering from mild lymphedema 1 year later, however, he also recommended against a revision and simply told me to massage it with bio-oil and wait another year.

Is this really the service that these two supposed 'high quality' surgeons offer? I've seen countless positive feedback posts on how amazing Dr Amin is, yet, when I saw him, he basically said that he hardly does revisions and wouldn't feel comfortable (or able) to do it.

So, are people lying about how 'fantastic' Dr Amin is, or is there something else going on here? I've seen so many posts about Dr Amin supposedly doing 'wonders' with cosmetic revisions, yet when I saw him, it seemed completely out of his depth (and he advised against it).

He did mention that the skin was relatively tight when erect, but, from personal experience, I can tell you that it does not feel tight or uncomfortable.

I am extremely surprised and confused. I have seen so many posts with people explicitly saying he does tight revisions and has done a good job.

What is going on? Are all of his reviews and testimonials fake, paid-for, or created by AI, or am I just going mad?

I feel like something isn't adding up here....
