I remember the film starts with us looking at a red sunset and a big title card. There is a family on a sailboat at the beginning. The main character is a young adult white man with black hair. I think his father is also there with glasses and black hair.
I remember the father tells the main character to wait in the car. The father goes to meet some people, and the son watches from behind a car. Those men kill his father.
The main character then runs back to the sailboat to see if his mother is alive. I think either she is dead or he sees a recording of her being kidnapped. There might have been a VHS tape or CD as evidence that his father left him.
I also remember him jumping into the water with a waterproof bag.
Later there is a scene where he is in an old coastal city at night walking with his father before the murder happens.
After his father is killed, the sailboat might explode or be destroyed, and the police start chasing him.
He is panicking, dirty, and hiding, and at one point he is chased through a nice public park by a policeman on horseback.
