Closing of the Geiensdorf Dog Park: Please Help

I have been heart broken about the news that the Geiersdorf dog park will be closing, because of small number of people complaining about dog barking. This place is so crucial for the socialization of our dogs, and we had created such a nice community with other owners in this park.

Please sign the petition if you would like to support us/if you find it unfair that a place where dogs can be happy is being taken away without any replacement planned!! ❤️

My 10 months old uneutered male Shiba suddenly started eating walls while he never did it before. In the space of one weekend, he ate 3 different walls, and not lightly (some pieces of the wall are actually gone). It started when we leaved him in the evening for four hours on Friday, normally when we leave him it’s all fine when we come back, but this time he had ate and scratched at the wall near the entry door. Then over the weekend he went on eating two different walls in my office near the window (a spot where he likes to chill). Between the first two events and the last one I had started putting white vinegar; but either it didn’t last long enough or he is now immune to the smell (before he used to hate the smell). Unfortunately, all three times he committed the mischief I wasn’t there to witness (even though the last two times he did it we were in the flat as well). I think the last time he did it was either during the night or very early in the morning.

Any tips on how to manage that? He goes out everyday a lot (2 hours of walk / dog park at least), we play with him often, he has a lot of toys (including Kong wobbler, puzzles etc) and many chew treats/bones that we give him regularly, including a very expensive piece of wood that he can gnaw at.

Thanks for the help :)
